I have volunteered at the Erie County SPCA as a dog walker since 2005.  While volunteering I have gained experience with various breeds of dogs and have done behavior evaluations using the Safer Test.  I am currently involved in the Enrichment Program for dogs that are up for adoption.

My volunteering has led me to a passion to help dogs and their owners.  This passion led to my assisting in dog training class and attending various dog trainers seminars.  At the Clicker Expo in March 2008 I was introduced to clicker training and Karen Pryor.   I was very intrigued with the power of using the clicker for dog training.  I enrolled in the Karen Pryor Academy in July 2008 and graduated in December as a certified training partner.  I am currently the only certified training partner in WNY to attend the Karen Pryor Academy.   

I have a 9 year old energetic Laborador Retriever, Jasmine whose passion in life is to play frisbee.  I wouldn't be the trainer I am today without her!!!
